Here are some cool potential names for Exocolonist OCs if you feel so inspired! I've been collecting interesting words for awhile now but I could never hope to use all these, so I may as well put them out there.

Aeronautics (nick: Aer/Aero/Naut) - the theory and practice of navigation through air or space
Amorphous (nick: Morph) - having no definite form or distinct shape
Automaton (nick: Auto/Toma) - a mechanism that can move independently of external control
Azure - bright blue in color, like a clear sky
Carapace (nick: Cara) - the hard outer covering or protective shell of certain organisms
Celestial (nick: Celest/Lest) - relating to heaven or the sky
Cipher or Cypher - a scheme of writing in secret code (actually has a lot of different meanings)
Chatoyant (nick: Toya/Yan) - varying in color when seen in different lights or from different angles
Dicentra (nick: Centra/Di/Dice) - a plant genus with heart-shaped flowers and divided foliage, aka "bleeding heart"
