Into Darkness Pt 2

Kyungsoo’s POV

I loved meeting Exo-L s, I was always grateful for everything that they have helped us achieve. But being on tour before Christmas was bad. I had so much going on in my life that I didn’t have the mind to be happy.

“Son, I am so proud of you. You have accomplished so much. To be honest I never thought you would have this much success.” My mother always loved handing out backhand compliments and I was no stranger to them, she was especially hard on me. I knew I would regret coming. Last time I came to my mother’s house she had Insulted Y/N and that stopped me from talking to her until now. “Mom what do you need? I have a busy schedule.” I said with a sharp tone. “Kyungsoo you never have time for your mother. You are always busy with work or that peasant girl Y/N.” Hearing my mother talk about Y/N made my skin crawl. “Mother, you don’t have to degrade her name like that. I know you don’t like her. You don’t have to remind me every time you see me. Plus you are so unfair. We once were middle class as she is. Just because I’m an Idol doesn’t mean you have to look down on others.” I was screaming now, but my mother just stared at me unbothered. “That is exactly what I wanted to talk to you. You know I don’t approve of her and yet you stay with her. Look Son I am not getting any younger and since your father passed I have been feeling lonely. I want grandkids, but not from her. Maybe I have been hard on you because of her but you have to understand that I don’t want your family line to fall back to where we once were. “ I felt my blood boil. I wasn’t going to take this. I was happy with Y/N and not even my mother’s ideals could change that. I turned from her ready to leave. “Please son, I’m dying.” She said as knelt on the floor starting to bow. “Mother! Get up. What do you mean?” I walked her to the couch and she told me everything. “I just went to the hospital and I have cervical cancer. Look son I wouldn’t pressure you to see anyone if it weren’t important. Please just promise me that you will meet with someone. I already found you a nice girl. And I promise that if you don’t like her I will give up on my dream and you can stay with HER.” My heart hurt, I didn’t know what to think. I hadn’t realized I was crying until I felt the tears on my lips. I love Y/N but in the end my mother is my only blood left. “I guess I can meet with this girl, but I can’t promise anything more.” I said as my heart shattered to pieces. I can’t believe I’m going to see someone else. “Ok son , Thank you. I will call Suran tomorrow.” I hugged my mother tight not wanting to let go. “Suran” I whispered. It felt so foreign on my lips.

“Hyung are you ok? You seem out of it?” Sehun asked as he waved his hand in front of you.  “Yea I’m sorry. I was just lost in thought.” Sehun laughed and walked away as Chanyeol sat in the seat next to you. “You ready to get home?” He said as he smiled. “No hyung, This christmas is going to be hard on me.” “Why? You have the best life out of all of us. You have Y/N to go home to. The rest of us are spending our break in the dorms.” He couldn’t hold it in any longer. This secret was eating at him and he needed to tell someone. He needed to get this giant knot out of his chest. “Hyung can I trust you with something?” he asked as he looked around, making sure no one else was sitting close. “Go for it. You know you can trust me.” He took a deep breath and looked down at his hands on his lap. He was too embarrassed to make eye contact. “Well about 5 months ago my mother set up a meeting with a women. She wanted me to meet her and hoped that I would leave Y/N.” “Your mother still hasn’t accepted Y/N!?” He screamed. He quickly brought his hand to cover Chanyeol’s mouth. “Shush I don’t want anyone else to know.” “Don’t worry, the planes engine is too loud for them to hear up in front. So what up? Are you still seeing her?” Kyungsoo could hear a little bit of judgement in Chanyeol’s voice. Everyone had met you and they loved you and it made it that much more embarrassing for him to be telling him all this. “Well in the beginning I only met Suran to please my mother. But I never had the intention to start anything with her. As time went on things started getting harder for me. I well….started falling for Suran.” He stayed quiet waiting for Chanyeol to give his input. “Well, you just have to break up with Y/N.” “I can’t break up with her. I love her. We have been dating for 3 years. I can’t see my life without her.” he said as tears fell from his cheeks onto his hands. Chanyeol put his hand on his shoulder “Then you must break up with Suran. I mean you only have been with her for what...4 or 5 months. I’m sure she won’t be as hurt as Y/N.” Hearing all of that made his heart hurt. He loved you but he was starting to have feelings for Suran as well. He fell asleep thinking of what to do. After 40 minutes he woke up with his decision. He decided to message Suran.

Hey hun, I’m almost home. Meet me in the apartment. No one’s home. I’ll be there in an hour.

He felt so bad, but he had decided to see Suran for the last time. He wanted to spend two weeks with her. Then he swore to himself that he would end things and continue things with you. He didn’t care what his mother wanted he loved you with all his being and he was just disappointed in himself that he had to bring another person into everything and realize it until now. He quickly called you to set everything up.

You were packing your clothes and everything essential for a 3 weeks stay. You packed Kyungsoo’s suitcase as well. Your phone rang pulling you out of your thoughts. “Hello?” “Hey jagiya, what are you up to?” “Oppa!! I miss you Oppa! How are you? Are you getting sleep? Are you eating well?” He felt so bad, It hurt to hear how much you missed him and how much you worried for him.  “I’m fine jagi. Yes I am eating and sleeping well. What are you doing?” “That’s good oppa. I’m just packing up. I decided to leave tonight to seoul to spend extra time with my parents. I packed for you as well so don’t worry.” “That’s nice. well we have two more weeks to go. I have to go. I will text you okay. Have fun at your parents house. Love you.” Before you could say your goodbyes he hung up on you. You didn’t let it bother you. You knew how busy he was.

I’m so Happy babe. I thought you weren’t going to see me before the holidays! Okay I will meet you there. I’ll make something for us to eat.

Kyungsoo’s POV

My stomach did flips thinking of Suran. I always loved seeing her, most of the time not even thinking of Y/N. Yes it made me feel bad, but at the same time I liked being selfish. I was always doing what was best for everyone but me.

I walked up to the apartment already smelling food. My stomach started gurgling and I quickly opened the door. “Oppa!!!! Come in baby! I missed you” her sweet voice greeted me. I dropped my bags on the floor grabbing her up by the waist into a kiss. “I missed you baby. Everything smells so good.”

The week had gone by so fast making me wish I could stop time. We  had spent the whole week cuddling, eating and fucking. “Did you like the dinner oppa?” she said as she came and sat on my lap. “Yes baby, You know I love your cooking.” I said as I gave her kisses on her neck. “Oppa stop, you know what that does to me.” I grabbed through her over my shoulder and walked towards the couch. “Oppa, I want to do it in your bed.” she gave me a devilish grin. I usually would not give in but by the end of the week things would end, it wouldn’t hurt. “Okay baby.” I said as I walked into the room and threw her on the bed. She giggled and quickly took off her clothes.

I loved seeing the need in her eyes. It always felt different fucking her. I always enjoyed it because it was different then with Y/N. This was pure lust and it always made me want Suran more.

It was raining so you ran into the apartment building. As you walked up the stairs to your 3rd floor you were wondering on whether to spend the night because of the bad weather. “As you reached your door you could swear the smell of food was coming from inside. As you walked in you saw a duffle bag at the entrance. ‘had Kyungsoo come home early?’ you asked yourself. But as you walked deeper into the apartment you noticed two plates on the table. When you were headed to the living room you tripped on a pair of heels and that is when your heart sank. You felt as if a huge whole had been punched through your chest. Your heart told you to run. To avoid the situation. But your head told you to see everything for yourself. “Oppa! Don’t stop!” And that is all you needed to send you over the edge. You slammed the door open to your room. As if you were in a movie you saw everything play out in front of you in slow motion. You were too angry for tears. “Jagi this is not what it looks like!” Kyungsoo said as he quickly got up to get his pants. “Save your shit! I do not want to hear it.” You turned around to leave but then you heard the woman say something under her breath. “It’s about time she left your life.” That was the last straw. You walked up to her “What the fuck did you say?” “You heard me.” she said with a dirty smirk plastered on her face. You were usually a calm person but you have had enough. You pulled her out of the bed by her hair throwing her on the floor. You punched her in the face sending pain up your arm. She scratched your face making it bleed. “Stop!” Kyungsoo screamed. It shocked you that he pulled you off of her. “Are you trying to kill her?” “Really Kyungsoo? Are you really defending this whore right now?” You didn’t want to hear his answer. So instead you ran out.

Kyungsoo’s POV

Everything had happened so fast, one second I was with Suran and the next she was being pulled off of the bed. My worst nightmare was happening right in front of my eyes. I couldn’t move, seeing Y/N’s face like this hurt more than I could ever imagine. I quickly snapped out of it when I saw Suran on the floor. “Are you trying to kill her?” I quickly pulled you up not wanting either of you to hurt each other. “Really Kyungsoo? Are you really defending this whore right now?”  Your voice cracked and it sent a shiver through my body. “No, both of you.” I screamed but Y/N was already out the door. I quickly grabbed grabbed for my shoes. “Oppa! Let her go, she is not worth it. Please stay with me.” Suran grabbed onto my arm but I shrugged it off. I couldn’t let her go, not like this. I needed to find Y/N and tell her that it was a misunderstanding. That I love you. I was too late. Your car was long gone and Y/N wouldn’t answer her phone. I stood outside getting soaked. Cursing at myself. I should have never brought Suran here. I should have been more careful. I quickly went upstairs to get my keys. I had to follow Y/N to her parents house. “You need to go, This went on too far.” I said as I got out another set of clothes. “What? You’re leaving?” she asked still naked on the bed. “You heard me, You need to fucking leave! This is your fault. I’m not losing Y/N because of you.” I was screaming at her while tossing her clothes so she could leave. “Kyungsoo are you fucking serious? This isn’t my fault. We both started this. I guess you are like every single fucking man on this fucking earth.” I didn’t care what Suran said. I grabbed my keys and my face mask and hat. It was still raining but none of that mattered. All I needed was to see Y/N. I hadn’t realized I was going almost 90 mph when I saw a lot of police lights ahead I quickly stepped on the breaks making my care slip and spin in the freeway. A police man quickly came to my car and banged on the window. “Are you alright?” he asked me in a stern voice. “Yes I’m fine officer. Just a bit startled.” “You should not speed like this! Now move along, We are too busy with this accident. Please drive to your left and be careful.” I nodded and slowly moved forward. There were about 5 cop cars and a semi truck in the middle of the freeway. Thankfully there were not a lot of cars. I hit the break hard seeing all the blood on the floor. I had never been this close to an accident. I pulled over and rushed out of the car vomiting next to my car. A car behind me honked but I just signed it to go . Blood always made me queasy and this was so much that I felt my vision blur. My curiosity got the best of me as I turned to see what was going on. Someone was being placed on a gurney.

His stomach churned but this time it wasn’t because of the blood. This time it was because he caught a glance of a bracelet on the dangling hand of the person. It looked familiar. At first he didn’t want to believe it. But then he searched around for a car. What was left of it anyways. He quickly stumbled towards the ambulance. A cop stopped him before he could reach you. “Sir you need to get back in your car.” He screamed at the officers face “That’s my girlfriend.” He let go of Kyungsoo with a sad look on his face. He walked up to you and started crying he tried to hold your face but the EMT stopped him “she is too hurt, we need to go.” He looked at your blood cover face. His tears dripping down on your face. Your eyes were closed and your body was limp. He fell to the ground and screamed. The ambulance doors had shut and he stayed on the floor. Police trying to console him. How could I have done this to her. Was all he kept repeating to himself as the ambulance siren faded.

Everyone has their bad days, and let’s just say today it was your turn. You had, had a fight with your best friend about her not liking your boyfriend, and giving you the ‘talk’. Then your boss had treated you like complete crap at work and every little mistake you made, you would get in trouble for. Now on the subway going back to your flat, nothing else appealed to you than to get home, and just relax. But like you had already thought, today the universe had decided it was against you. So, of course, it had started to pour down buckets of ice cold water, and you had left your umbrella at home, the weather broadcast had said it was going to be sunny today, thanks for that Seoul broadcaster, but you guess the universe had felt like making my day even more crappy. You still had to walk to your flat, and to top of the worst day of bad luck ever, the taxi had passed you by and instead had splashed the puddle of murky water on you, leaving you soaked to the bone. You had rushed as quickly as you could, to your flat to feel the warmth of the house, surround you and warm you. You could finally see the brown door, that gave to your flat. You opened the door and smelled the wonderful smell of home, the warmth immediately surrounding you. You sat down on your couch, feeling relief from the crap of a day you had, had so far, when you heard stomping down the stairs. ‘Oh god, what is it now?’ you thought to yourself, thinking it was another thing to make your day even worse. Though that wasn’t what you saw, what you saw was your boyfriend, running down the stairs in his green dinosaur onesie and you couldn’t help but laugh at his childish behavior that you loved so much. “What are you doing?” you asked him in between laughs, “Trying to make you feel better, went,” he told you while trying to grab your hand with his tiny little dinosaur hands, you laughed again at his attempt. “Well, you did an amazing job at that Dae, thank you,” you said pecking his lips, and embracing him in a hug. He hugged you back rubbing small comforting circles around your back, “That’s why I’m here, angel”

you continued to lie there on the couch telling each other stories about how your day had gone, venting out about your problems. for the rest of day, it felt as if the universe wasn't completely against you.you thought that if it had been you wouldn't have been lying on the couch now with the boy you loved the most eating junk food and watching dumb movies.

cheesy bf things exo would do

xiumin: would open the door for u one day and say “ur highness” as he does the fancy gesture and ur like um. pls. and he’ll be like “the best service for my royalty~” and he’d eventually do it so often (even when if it’s a car door) that u become so accustomed to it and people are like ?? whenever he literally stalls them from going out the door just so his treasure can go out first and u can’t help but actually feel like an actual treasure because ur so loved and cared for by sucha cutie

chen: would bug u and laugh his chen laugh over a piece of ur hair that’s flying around in the wind but then when he sees that ur all >:~( because u can’t control ur hair he’ll put that piece of hair behind ur ear and put his hands on both sides of ur head so ur hair is kept in place and he’ll look at u lovingly and be like. ur so cute. this happens a lot and neither of u want to admit that u love when the weather is windy 

suho: would make bad puns to cheer u up but then one day he realizes ur rly not in the mood for his horrible puns and ur just super upset and cold and want nothing 2 do with anything he’ll be like “i’ll get u a blanket” and when he returns he wraps himself around u and he’ll be like “because i’m the blanket that’s supposed to protect u from ur problems i’ll also be the blanket that warms u up” and u laugh a little and not because it was funny but because he’s suho and u can’t be upset forever with him and his bad jokes

kai: would be at the dance studio more dancing his butt off and u’d be a little upset because u want to see ur bf but he’s so busy :~( always busy and always working his body away :~( but one day u go to visit him to see if he’s ok and healthy and eating but u end up seeing the most ethereal boy putting his whole heart into movements that u can’t keep ur eyes off while he’s dancing to a familiar song that u absolutely adore. wow. he was busy because he was making a choreo for a song U love. what a cheeseball for making u worry. what a cheeseball for making u love him so much

sehun: would act younger than u even if he isn’t because he likes to be baby’d by u for some reason ?? he just loves when u give him ur utmost attention and love him like he knows u would only feel that way for him. would also do baby things like whine when u get up in the morning and leave his side, pout when u don’t feel like cuddling, stroke ur hair and play with it while humming a song that’s been in his head all day because he overheard u singing it that morning. sometimes it’s annoying but u can’t help to avoid his cute lil face

kyungsoo: would be quiet around u a lot of the times at the start of ur relationship but his lack of words make the things he says the loudest with meaning. would whisper how much he loves u at the oddest times because sometimes he just wants to tell u. would also write u cute lil notes in ur agenda so when ur stressed over the busy schedule u have ur reminded that he’s this absolutely amazing boy who’s helping u through it (notes include: “ur doing great!” “i love u so much” “u look so cute today” (this specific note is repeated on a lot of the days. probably all of them) “i can’t wait to see u when u get back home!)

lay: would be the fluffiest fur ball in ur life. u won’t need a teddy bear to cuddle, a bunny to pet, or a fuzzy sweater to keep u warm... u got ur own lay! would always cuddle. cuddles here, cuddles there. he may be the most intimidating guy u’ve met but man has he got the cutest interior. would cook for u and try to feed u but u’d be like hello !! i can feed myself and u’d pout but he’d be like pls. and feed u anyways. would make u hot chocolate and do one of those things where he plays a fake bonfire on his computer and cuddle u while singing one of the songs he’s currently composing (he won’t admit but it’s probably abt u) 

chanyeol: would be annoying. absolutely annoying. but to his defence it’s because he can’t help but tease u, to get ur attention, to make u smile in any occasion (even if he has to attempt when ur in a bad mood). he just wants u to be happy always. he would also write u songs. especially on the spot. u could be doing anything and he’d find some way to make a song out of it in hopes of making u smile. (ex. ur doing the dishes. “y/n’s doing the dishes, after we ate off plates that held something delicious, y/n’s so precious, they’re looking at me like i’m an annoyance but that doesn’t change the spot in my heart which they are an occupant~~”) and though they sometimes don’t make sense u do end up smiling, and not because the song is funny but because ur boyfriend is such a nerd

baekhyun: would take u to the pet shelter at least once a month because u love dogs but can’t have one because ur parents are allergic. he would name the puppies with u and when a puppy does get adopted, u would both volunteer to pamper the puppy for their new owner. but one day you go and the owner of the shelter tells u that the puppy ur really attached to, hyunnie~ (named after your boyfriend because it looks exactly like him), has been adopted and u can’t help but feel upset. baekhyun realizes this and hugs u and tells u “hey!! it’s ok!! the cutie was taken cared by another cutie!! and soon it will meet more cuties but will it ever forget the one cutie who loved it the most?? of course not!!” and u’d smile and get through pampering the puppy for it’s new family with the thought that he would be alright thanks to ur cute as heck boyfriend who happens to fill the sadness. u eventually realize ur fine without hyunnie~ because u already have ur very own cute puppy for a boyfriend !!!
