In the wake of Justice League and Avengers: Infinity War, EXOLEAGUE is now open for prompting! This fest is centered around a trio of superhuman themes: superheroes/villains, MAMA AU, and power AUs. Any and all EXO pairings are welcome. The KFR admins encourage you to prompt, write, and read many fics for this wonderful fest!

For those who would like to participate, here are the most important dates to keep in mind:

PROMPTING: AKA MISSION REQUESTS!

The wait is finally over!!! Have you been itching to send in your prompts? We know we have been dying to get started!

A few lil tips before you send in your mission requests to our heroes…

Try not to be too vague! Our heroes need to have a bit of information to get them through their missions.

Try not to be too specific! Our heroes love experimenting with their powers.

Make sure the prompt adheres to the general fest rules!

You can send in as many as you like! (Some of us get into trouble... a lot, and need to be saved often ◟̽◞̽ ༘* whoops;;).

One form is one prompt, so once you have submitted one, refresh and send in another if you wish^^.

Anyone and their grandmas can send in a mission request - yes, even the heroes, villains, and innocent bystanders.

Don’t leave any of the spaces blank. This includes the contact information. HQ would prefer it if you provided a means to contact you in case there is something wrong with your prompt.

Leave N/A for the 'Power-ups’ and 'Power-downs’ if you do not have any!

For the ‘Power-downs’ or stuff you do not want to see in the fic, please be reasonable. 

This means no requests such as ‘if there is smut, X member can’t top/ bottom’*. These kinds of requests are very off-putting to our SuperWriters, and it’s likely your request will not be claimed. If we get any prompts with this, they will be edited (meaning that specific 'power-down’ will be omitted) with notice. 

*A better way to phrase this would be ‘If there is smut, I would prefer if X member tops/ bottoms but it is up to the author’.

Heroes, if you have your personal missions to follow, you will get your very own application on December 18 when claiming begins!

Intro Post: A Message from HQ

The world as we know it… is in grave, grave danger... There is only a handful of people who can save it and YOU are one of them!

Hello and welcome to EXOLEAGUE, a ficfest centred around the theme of superheroes/villains, MAMA AU and power AUs! The scope for this genre is Super Wide; be it Marvel or DC inspired characters, AUs from comic verses or videogames, Pathcode AU and so much more! You can, by all means, create your own universe; so long as your fic incorporates the theme of powers or special abilities.

We’ve been shaking with excitement for months over the prospect of more content for one of our favourite and (Super Underrated) tropes, and now, the time has finally come! So strap in, and brace yourselves ‘cos we are in for one hell of a ride!

GENERAL FEST RULES (please read them all carefully):

Absolutely NO plagiarism!

Plagiarism in any form will not be tolerated in this fest and you will immediately be exiled (from this round, as well any future rounds).

NO noncon/ dubcon/ pedophilia fics will be accepted.

While we maintain that creative freedom is crucial, the above mentioned themes are prohibited from this fest for safety reasons. Hints and mentions are okay (in which case, they still require a warning); there is to be no explicit scenes/ storylines.

If any prompts are submitted with such themes, they will be deleted with notice. If any fics are submitted with such themes, the writers will be contacted and advised to revise their fics if possible - otherwise the fic will not be posted.  

Other triggering themes MUST be tagged appropriately!

You must be ready, willing and able to save the day.

Only claim a prompt if you are really certain you will be able to complete and submit a fic! However, we know that circumstances can change and you may no longer be able to write, but please let us know as soon as possible if this happens. If you need any extensions, please come to us! Communication with HQ is so important for the fest to run smoothly.

Your fic must incorporate elements of powers and/or special abilities.

The above statement is not exhaustive. As mentioned earlier, there is a huge scope for this theme and is not simply limited to superpowers. You might have a character who can shapeshift, or a few characters with no powers (so to speak) who lead a coup against a powerful organisation. You could have a crumbling society, or a secret underground superhero association. The possibilities are endless!

This is an EXO ficfest and therefore the main characters and pairings should be EXO members.

OT12 is welcome! We adore the ex-members a lot!

The first check-in will be an informal one (great idea monsterfest mods!). The second check-in’s word count will be 1000 words. The minimum word count for final submissions is 2000 words.

Co-authors are allowed!

We are afterall, a league, so alliances may be formed. It is your responsibility to communicate with your writing partner/s and be 1204% sure you will be able to complete a fic together before deadlines!

Keep your fic a secret until reveals!

Secrecy is the key to keeping us all safe! You may employ a sidekick (beta) if you wish, but try and keep your identity and activities on the downlow.

We will be posting the submitted fics as a collection on AO3, so you must have an AO3 account!

The fest will operate on Korean Standard Time (KST).

MOST IMPORTANT RULE: Have fun! You have superpowers now, so it’s time to test them out ;)
