The exorsexim you experience going in for an ultrasound on your chest because of a lump and the staff immediately assuming the appointment is for your mother/asks you, the patient, to wait in the waiting area then acts utterly shocked when you correct them 😑
The nurse asked me three separate times on the walk back to verify my information. Each time completely forgetting what I had literally JUST told her.
General reminder to routinely check your breast, chest, lymph nodes areas and to follow up with a doctor if you notice any lumps, bumps, thickening, etc. Regardless of sex, gender whatever.
Chest/Breast Health is fucking important.
