            dabi didn’t expect to see him on this side of town.

            his gaze lingered on the dual toned boy for a few moments as he weighed his options. he could ignore the other all together, continue on his way and let the other fend for himself. or, he could approach the teen and steer him away from the harsh part of town that he had stumbled in.

          it’s what he tells himself, yet his feet are already carrying him toward the red&white haired youth, hands clenching into fists as they reside tucked away in his jacket pockets. dabi isn’t sporting his usual attire; instead he wears a facemask and a simple black jacket, hiding his scarred arms from sight; a turtleneck to to keep the rest tucked away. he wasn’t looking to make a scene, and he can only hope the hero in training wasn’t either.

          “you’re gonna get yourself killed out here,” he mused as he approached the boy, trying to ignore the way his chest seemed to clench upon seeing his face once more.
