google announced that its long-awaited expanded text ads will be released later this year with the removal of the right hand side ads
google has now more flexibility to expand its text ads and make them look more uniform across all devices
in other news Instagram is testing video ads and carousel format the carousel format isn't exactly new
it was already released last year was still images but this time Instagram is releasing the feature with video
the carousel ad format can now be used in combination with video and still images as long as it uses three to five pieces of content
the maximum length of the video uses about 60 seconds which is the usual standard that we are all used to and this feature will be released very true in a very short time for all of us
one of our favorite news items this month comes from Google's performance summit where the company is introducing the next generation of local search ads
the company's bring more branded and customer experience to the Google Maps environment by providing search ads in the local finder
users will see branded pins along and near by their route

and moving quickly from our 360 photo to the innovation segment google has announced its plans to grow additional efforts into the virtual reality investment by developing their daydream platform working with partners like asus samsung HTC and LG
google has been working on developing android and ready phones to be released in the fall of this year
google has also released reference designs for VR headset and controller and a dream version of the google play store will feature virtual reality enabled content including games from da Ubisoft and Nettie's as well as streaming video from HBO now CNN netflix and many more
