thought's been stuck in my head today:
If I [did insane(ly normal) thing] in pursuit of no better goal than amusing myself with patterns/numbers, this would wrong no one, harm no one. -> I have the opportunity to decide purely for myself whether I want to. I can't rule it out ethically! And I don't think it's good for me to be reflexively ruling things out (that have occurred to me as actions I might want to take) based on unconsidered "I'm not the sort of person that []"
Do I want to never []?
