Kade being an OC that was made to fulfill my need to romance Wilson and being a terrible pair for him is actually sending me.
Kade likes fucking with Wilson because he's higher up than him and he can afford to piss him off. He also likes to get excuses to hear about and see Cyrus.
Getting a high position during a war when you're whole gift is literally being a know-it-all is pretty easy. Especially when you've always known how to make the most of your gift. Kade can easily give orders knowing what the best course of action is. OBJECTIVELY.
He is analytical. That's his whole... thing. He can see statistics and probablities of every possible thing. It doesn't mean he knows what will happen, but he knows the probability of it. He can make educated choices even if he shouldn't be educated on said choice. But I'd be lying if I said Kade was a good person.
If given the statistics, Kade isn't just choosing what's the best course of action, but also what seems like it'll benefit him the most if there are any benefits. He puts on a playful persona, but he's serious in a second. He's just an asshole. A manipulative asshole. And he knows exactly what'll be the best things to say to people.
