A little more rhythmic, adjusting the Marbles ratio and using a random voltage on Vice Virga (which I've been criminally underusing) to swap voices of Daiko. Taiko is playing with a slight jitter and some randomness, but mostly a snare; and Pam is sending a euclidian kick pattern to the Xodes.

Real highlight of this patch is the filtered chord patch. It's arguably better without all the percussion. Unfortunately I didn't record separately but there's an early version of that patch below, from yesterday. A new filter should be on the short list of modules I need to explore such sound design further.

Whoah! What a start to an album, pure glitch noise heaven! I got to hang out with these two guys in Osaka a few months back, i had no idea they were cooking up something so powerful and beautiful. Great album, so much light and shade, some incredibly deep textures and lashings of digital sound magic. Respect!

Smerz are doing their own thing - blending experimental ambience full of classical instrumentation and synths with sultry r’n’b vocals. Truly 21st century 'pop' music. And they get weirder as time goes on, deconstructing their sound more with each release. Max just feels really special to me, future music indeed. Love it. -Kris
