Droguiville

La ville concept que j'ai crée.

Une ville décevante, la ville des lasses et des ennuyés de la vie. Une ville morose et sans saveur, et pourtant on y est tellement attachés. On l'aime malgré ses défauts, ses piques, sa haine, sa méchanceté. Au fond elle ne sait rien faire d'autre, on pourrait la quitter mais on ne sait pas comment, il y a comme quelque chose d'hypnotique en elle.

Laissez moi, au travers de billets de tickets ou peut importe comment vous appelez ces petits postes, vous raconter son histoire, ses points de vue. L'étrangeté de son atmosphère.

Laissez moi surtout vous dire qu'il faut la bruler avant qu'elle nous consume.

I decided to make a laughter compilation sound clip that would accompany the images. I sourced the material from multiple Youtube videos such as these two and converted them to audio files before cutting and blending parts together. It showcases voices from young baby giggles to elderly men chortling. I just think it adds to the humor and further blends the binary oppositions together into an indistinct and inclusive phenomena.

I have no idea what this was about! More underwater inspired randomness. I wanted to experiment with layering up details.

I love these greens at the moment. Winsor and Newton Cobalt Green and Viridian are my favourite, they go beautifully with a deep orange or this neon pink Opera acryla gouache.
