Om nom nom nom nom.
I was experimenting with some stuff I had rolling around the kitchen, and accidentally created delicious hor d'oeuvres.
Sausage, mushrooms, spinach, cream cheese, sour cream, and Italian-blend cheese; all baked in tiny Philo pastry shells.
I just took some pancake mix, grated a potato into it, and stirred in a bunch of cheese with the butter and milk
Holy hell these are the best biscuits I've ever made, how have I been sleeping on this idea for so long!! I love how versatile pancake mix is 😭
I'll put the recipe here below:
2 1/4 cups pancake mix, 2/3 cup milk, 1/2 cup butter, one grated potato, a few handfuls of cheese
Mix it all together, cook at 350F for ~15mins until the tops are golden
I'll probably experiment with the ratios of potato and cheese, but this is what I did today!
Wolf Therian Coffee “Recipe"! (Specially made for the Autumn Season.) | 11/17/16
Okie, so I just randomly made the best coffee I’ve ever had, and I kind of made it appeal to my Wolf Theriotype’s senses of taste and smell. I don’t have exact mesurements since I went solely on taste and nothing else (It was a taste test experiment kind of lol) so you’ll have to find what tastes best for you in the perfect measurements you like!
Here’s what I used:
Cider Spices by Aspen (? I think that’s the brand name, I can’t remember.) Pumpkin Spice Pure/Raw Clover Honey Coffee-Mate Pure Vanilla Extract Coffee (Obviously. I used Green Mountain's Cinnamon Sugar Cookie Coffee, in their Keurig Cup thingie, but you can use any coffee brand or flavor you’d like. The thing about adding flavors to flavored coffee though is you want everything you compliment each other in harmony, so if you’re gonna used a flavored coffee, try using one that compliments these autumn flavors and such.)
Optional: Sugar (To make it sweeter if you want) Whipped Cream (For a topping) Cinnamon (For a topping by itself or with Whipped Cream)
Like I said, I don't have exact measurements because I went by taste. But in the end, this “recipe” really delighted my senses of smell and taste, the primary (And probably most important) senses of an Algonquin Wolf. Made me feel as though I’m lost in an Autumn Forest Paradise. I might make a coffee “recipe” for my Russian Black Cat Theriotype next. c:
Experimental Cake: Juiced Angel
Ingredients:
Angel food cake mix (variety used: simplest recipe)
6 oz . flavored gelatin powder (flavor used: lemon)
12 oz. juice concentrate (flavor used: orange)
12 oz. water (use the canister the juice concentrate came in)
Directions:
Set oven according to cake mix recipe. In my case, it was 350° F.
Mix the cake mix and the gelatin powder.
Add juice concentrate and water; mix until dry ingredients are moistened.
Blend on medium for 1 minute.
Bake according to cake mix recipe. (Please note that while the batter might barely fit in a 13x9 pan, it will rise beyond that while baking. Next time try using the pans listed in the recipe!)
The juice is probably the biggest influence on the flavor, but the sample tasters suggest that the gelatin also affects it significantly.
