I got a really really gross dip at ALDI that claimed to be crab Rangoon flavored. This is an affront to crab rangoon. I tried to eat more to not waste it but I just cannot deal with the fact that it has the taste and texture of something that is mostly relish. There is and should be no relish in this.

To make it worse, while describing this blasphemy to a friend I finally got my eyes to pick out more of the ingredient label and was laughing at it containing something I specifically avoid when choosing cat food (something I am much more careful about). I was sure it would not be in my food if it was a problem, which is a really weird take for an American in 2026 to hold. I have read The Jungle. Still, I was like "haha, it'll be fine, I'm sure it is just cats whom this is bad for."

It was not fine. Carrageenan, not even once.
