This is one of my favourite birbs, the Spix Macaw - who was declared extinct in the wild in my lifetime and then reintroduced again from private and zoo stock and is thriving again year on year. Amazing story of success.

Chaos in paper, a reflection of ones mind? Perhaps. Next step is to create order, repair. lost in translation

We passed the gate and a security officer greeted us, 

he asked if I knew any English, 

I knew very little, I understood his question though. 

I responded with a giggle, and said I know girl and boy. 

He smiled, checked our passports and papers and welcomed us to Canada.
