In my savefile the characters are:
• Mana: (Main Character) - Riolu>Lucario. She's better at fighting than exploring even if she's good enough at it.
• Kyoko (Partner) - Vulpix>Ninetales (My #1 fav pkmn of all time that's why is her) she's better at exploring than fighting and has an enormous IQ level. Identifies enemies's weaknesses apart from just type very quick and sees small details that anyone else would not see. Mana says very proud of her couple that Kyoko has become the best explorer of all time.
There were some add ons in my interpretation before game events to make the story darker.
• When Mana was a defensesless child her parents were brutally murdered by Primal Dialga Cultists who were hunting heretic people. The assassins were Sableye from Dusknoir.
• Her parents gave her a last gift before asking her to run: a Treecko egg who would be later Grovyle.
• Her and Treecko>Grovyle did survive in the middle of a world of darkness until the time of acting did come.
Everyone knows the game events so I'll put some traits about Mana:
• She has a trauma. To make sure no one dies she protects anyone no matter what, even if that costs her own life. You can see her constantly pushing her limits until near death to get stronger. Pain is just a motivation to her to do what must be done. Her partner Kyoko sometimes gets worried because of that because is like Mana doesn't value her life sometimes and puts anyone before herself. Mana is like a Spartan who got strong with constant suffering. Her menthality is impossible to yield.
•She's kind and sweet, with a tragical aura unless when is with Kyoko.... but morally grey. If someone important to her gets in trouble, she's even capable of killing.
• Her aura is not light, not darkness. Her aura is Chaos. She can be a Fight-Steel Type but her aura says that her type is "?" Perhaps because is a PMD human with hidden potential.
• For some reason, Kyoko is not evil even if she's a Ninetales. Perhaps because of Mana's influence and shipping. (Yes, there's Yuri)
• The Nickname Mana comes from the regular color of Mana points in RPGs (blue) but also from the Life and Aura concept.
Now, I'll talk about the postgame.
• There are several places that connect the Main Saga world with PMD world at least in theory. Mt Coronet for example... that would be why some Legendary Pokémon can be in both realities. I did use that to get the character after EoS postgame with everything done and Secret Rank. Wigglytuff would talk about the possibility of travelling beyond their world and Palkia would make that possible for Mana and Kyoko who would start a guild in Valor Lakefront's beach zone. Since I did knew about travelling between worlds I think in both worlds.
•I had a gigantic plot planned making crossover from both worlds. Much character developement and even an exclussive move of "?" Type for Mana with limitations since she has just a mortal body. PMD1 Ninetales would awaken Kyoko's hidden evilness and teach her to control it. (Ninetales species ya know)
• She would learn to revert to human form and transform into Lucario to fight. Kyoko would learn to take humanoid appearance as well.
• I'll give some brief details of the plot before mentioned and explain it in a more extended way (or write it as a novel) if I have time/there is interest from others/I want. I'll tell who would appear in the crossover plot.
- From Colosseum/XD: Wes (now as a bounty Hunter), Lovrina as an adult (with poison types and Nidoking as a main, being a strong woman and not a brat anymore) and Professor Ein. (They would work now with Wes to atain to their sins in Cipher)
-From Conquest: Nobunaga and Zekrom. There would be a relation with Caelestis Clan to develop more him and Cynthia.
-DPPt: Cynthia, Palkia and Dialga. I never liked that GF didn't develop the Queen enough on her Lineage part. So I wanted to do it.
-Mewtwo, with Tekken reference grabbing Giovanni from his neck and throwing him into the Kanto Volcano near from Cinnabar island like if it was Kazuya throwing Heihachi.
-As some surprise, Mana would have two instructors, one Shiny Lucario called Aurora who mastered the Aura Control to use a "?" Type move and an alter version of my girl that comes from another timeline called Mika. The difference with that "another Mana" is that Grovyle was captured before the events of the game and executed before evolving from Treecko status. Mika fell into pure shadow aura becoming a fearsome Shadow Pokémon, Killed Dusknoir and Dialga by herself in that timeline and Primal Dialga laughed saying that she would be dead or unhappy in any timeline. To prove that he was wrong she did travel restlessly between realities until finding Mana. Sees the opportunity there with her and fights her constantly showing an attitude like Goro Majima from Yakuza to make her stronger. In the shadows she would do some things to help the heroes. In the end she wants Mana to kill her because trusts the explorer to do what she couldn't and to pass her shadow powers to Mana in order to combine them with Aurora's training, making the Pure Chaos Aura.
-From PMD1: Main Character, Partner, Absol, Ninetales
-From PMD2: Grovyle and Dusknoir would return. I take in consideration what did happen in EoS Special Chapters so Dusknoir is not an enemy but Mana still hates him. Grovyle would be in the end the one who believes on him the most and the ghost would still be an a**hole with Villains now to never lose his charisma (imagine the ghost vs. Ghetsis or Evice to see who is more evil). He would be extremely obssesed to surpass Mana and Grovyle.
- As the villains Evice from Colosseum would return trying to make the Ultrabeast into shadow forms with stolen knowledge from Team Rocket, Galactic and Plasma about how to Clone, Control and destroy the Universe. It would be both worlds against the former Cipher Leader being more insane and vicious than ever and Shadow Ultra Necrozma as the main threat. Lillie and Lunaala would appear as well to connect events with SM games.
That's just a sketch of the ideas. If you want the entire plot I'll have to write countless time. But at least I had to post this because it was so epic in my head and me and my GF who did RP Kyoko in twitter with me almost do it with more ppl but it was impossible.
The ideas with Mana never run out. Because EoS marked me 11 years ago and for me is the best game of the franchise and because I love my explorers of course. That's all. Thanks for reading.
