1.17.21 Lake Kallavessi

We walked 30 minutes to the city-center and then another 15 minutes or so to Lake Kallavessi. We saw neighborhoods that we haven't explored before. It's exciting to see new places within your own backyard. It was remarkably warmer today (-2° C), so the extra walking was pleasant. The kids were troopers today.

As a reward for all of our walking, we had hot chocolates and doughnuts at the Coffee House in Kuopio's city-center. Yum! An important note is that all of the stores, except grocery stores, are closed on Sundays.
