Outing on Saturday, 14.02.23 After hiking we went to see the Suwon Hwaseong Fortress. Before actually starting the walk we visited the corresponding museum to get a bit of background. Fortunately, the weather had cleared up somewhat by then and no more rain so we were able to enjoy the walk.

Outing on Sunday, 26.02.23 On this day I went out with my American friend to see an exhibition called 'Newtro Festival - Tradition Now'.
It was about traditional Korean culture and an effort to keep alive and seen despite the rapid development of technology and how the two can coexist. At one spot in the exhibition, there was a small game where you could toss 2 huge dices and the result would be a specific card. The one I got weirdly fit perfectly for me: 'The satisfaction/pleasure of doing what one has hoped/wished for. Everything you dream of will go well this year.'
Outing on Monday, 20.02.23 Walking Seoul city wall: Inwangsan trail & Baegaksan trail Although my knee was not 100% pain-free just yet I still did the last 2 trails of the Seoul city wall as the weather was good. Kinda regretted it halfway through as the trails had a crapton of stairs but i really wanted to finish them that day. Well, i just rested for a few days after lol
Outing on Saturday, 18.02.23 On this day I had signed up for another meetup, this time walking Ansan Jarak-gil trail. It is a wooden pathway trail all around the Ansan Mountain thus easily accessible for people of all ages - and it was perfect for me that day considering my bruised knee lol After that we went to a cafe to have a small snack and it happened to be a cafe called Alles Gute! It seems that the owner learned baking in Germany and after coming back to Korea opened up his own cafe which offers Korean as well as some German desserts and bread. When we were finished and started to separate, one guy suddenly started to read the German text that was on the window of the cafe and we got to talking. We decided to have lunch together and after that had some coffee - we talked a lot that day about god and the world, it was really nice!
Outing on Thursday, 16.02.23 Walking Seoul city wall: Sungnyemun Gate trail & part of Inwangsan trail - also doing a night hike up Inwangsan Mountain
On this day I walked another trail of the Seoul city wall. As I had signed up for a night hike up Inwangsan Mountain I only did a small portion of the next trail and then went to take a walk around Gyeongbokgung Palace. Behind the Palace is actually the Blue House which is now open to the public to visit! The current South Korean president moved to another residence in order to return the Blue House back to the citizens - you have to make a visitor reservation beforehand though. Still not sure if foreigners are allowed to go since the whole website and reservation process is in Korean >_> Will check once I am back in Seoul! The night hike was pretty interesting since I would not have dared to do it without a group. Unfortunately I tripped on a black plastic pipe at the top due to the limited visibility and bruised one of my knees quite some.
