Getting rid of the past to stay more in the present 😄 Cleared away 3 full drawers from a chest. Got ridd of all medals from past runs (except one that I kept), an old selfmade toy from when I was a child, some old CD's, sunglasses, a written statement that I have walked the El Camino, and lots of more (not everything in the picture, but a lot). Some of these were emotional items that was hard to get rid of. Still, we must accept that the past is the past, and the less we bring into the future the less we are stuck in the past. I try to keep only what is truly valuable for me. It feels really good, and it also keeps me from acquiring new possessions when I know how hard it is to get rid of the old. If I miss something I can always look at the pictures of it. I would not call myself a minimalist, for that I feel like I own too many things. It's hard to get rid off all. Though I do love the experience traveling with only what you can carry in a small backpack, for weeks. It's a fantastic feeling. Not being overburden by stuff. I think this is one of the most joyfull things of a long hike (like the El Camino). #minimalism #embracingminimalism #exploringminimalism #minimalist ??? (Not sure I really am) #tidying (ved Grünerløkka)
