OKAY WELL I LITERALLY JUST THOUGHT OF IT RN BUT. i literally had a story i came up w when i was 14 about this band of teenage pirates and i had this whole arc w them getting trapped in a siren kingdom and i was obsessed w coming up w what i imagined the sirens to look like and all that SO THIS KINDA STUFF HAS BEEN LIKE. MY SHIT FOR YEARS.
if i have the time (working around all my other projects agkdj) i def want to write a fic about this. i imagine normal and the teens (along w some npcs like hero margarita and erica bc i cant just have four people on a ship) are all pirates sailing (scary is the captain) and one day normal gets distracted by a siren song. bc ofc he would fall for that shit
and hermie is a siren whos been completely unsuccessful at killing any pirates, so shes like okay well what if i get the CAPTAIN of this ship. thatll show them (her parents). so she tries to lure scary but instead gets normal. so normal keeps trying to seek out this mystery person, thinking hes in love, and hermie successfully lures him in, but shes like ayo wtf ur not scary. and also that was way too easy. and normals like omg ur so pretty ily and hermies like UMMMM this was not in the plan.... but okay... maybe i can use this dumbass to get to the captain..... so hermie could easily just kill normal but doesnt. i think it would be silly
