ExpoNet awarded MEA NSW State Award for Exhibition Services!

On Wednesday 27 March, at the MEA Gala Dinner held within Sydney’s Luna Park, ExpoNet were pleased to be awarded the MEA NSW State Award for Exhibition Services!

Accepting the award on behalf of the team was Sydney Business Development Manager, Christine Kotsis.

We are always extremely thankful for industry acknowledgement and recognition such as this from MEA,  as it’s a testament to the hard work, dedication and passion shown by every one of our 200 employees across the east coast of Australia.

Celebrating 16 years with APP!

This March saw ExpoNet deliver the Australian Pharmacy Professional Conference & Trade Exhibition (APP), for the 16th consecutive year.

First built by ExpoNet in 2004, the event has seen extraordinary growth, continued strong engagement and endorsement from exhibitors and industry.

Held at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre (GCCEC), the annual APP Conference & Trade Exhibition attracts thousands of attendees and is the largest pharmacy conference and trade exhibition in Australia.

Over the course of the four day event, attendees are provided with educational programs, networking and social agendas and a trade show showcasing the latest products, services and industry developments.

The team at ExpoNet take great pride in working with the organisers to ensure the exhibitors are continually impressed and presented with the perfect platform to engage and educate, year on year.

Working closely with the organisers, ExpoNet continue to deliver bigger and better feature areas, functional meeting spaces and lounges styled to their themes.

The 2019 event was no exception with the APP engaging ExpoNet across our Exhibitions, Styling/StyleMe and Customs divisions – showcasing our ability to be a turnkey solution.

Furthermore, this year ExpoNet worked with the organisers to create a new outdoor terrace lounge, which hosted their inaugural International Women’s Day lunch and LGBT Networking Function.

ExpoNet AIME’d high with AIME 2019

ExpoNet AIME’d high with their participation in the Asia Pacific Incentives Meetings Event - AIME 2019, which took place at Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) from 18 to 20 February.

2019 saw ExpoNet showcase their state-of-the-art modular build option, Aluvision – reaching new heights with it’s seamless ability!

Designers, project managers and our experienced account managers worked together to ensure that ExpoNet’s 6x3m custom stand presence created an experience best fit to showcase Aluvision’s built in audio/visual, power and lighting, branding and visual merchandising opportunities.

Lead by Melbourne Business Development Manager, Yulie – the company was extremely proud of the result, with all the advantages of Aluvision on display.

Adding intrigue and showcasing the company’s creative thinking, ExpoNet installed a feature wall full of kids building blocks – which saw the team source 40 bags of blocks to ensure the towering 3.5mH custom wall was filled to the top.

A great conversation starter, the team were able to use this feature installation as a conversational segway into the company tagline ‘Where brands are built’, and how to related to prospective clients.

The team representing ExpoNet met with more than 70 pre-scheduled appointments and passing potentials, proudly showcasing the company capabilities and diverse product/service offering.

Over the course of the event, ExpoNet’s Business Development Managers and representatives dispersed:

Over 500 mints;

100 water bottles;

More than 200 pens;

Over 120 A5 branded journals; and,

5 boxes worth of collateral!

ExpoNet named 2018 Best Supplier at the Exhibition and Event Awards

ExpoNet was recognised as the ‘Best Supplier – Services or Products’ in acknowledgement of its outstanding work in exhibitions and events with the presentation of the 2018 Exhibition and Event Association of Australasia (EEAA) Awards for Excellence.

ExpoNet is one of Australia’s largest suppliers to the exhibition and event industry.  From their network of fully resourced branches in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane/Gold Coast, ExpoNet offers design, project management and build.

The EEAA Awards for Excellence were announced at a gala function held at the iconic International Convention Centre Sydney. ExpoNet’s place amongst the winners in the category of ‘Best Supplier – Services or Products’ was evaluated against the highest industry standards.

ExpoNet’s Managing Director, Shaun Rae, said, “The EEAA Awards for Excellence provide one of the premium platforms to benchmark our services across an industry level. Over the last 12 months we have been working hard to strengthen our key partnerships, exceed our clients’ expectations, invest in new products and sustainable solutions and to refine our internal processes. These awards are welcome testament to the progress we have made in these areas.”

Entries were judged on all aspects of achievement including innovation, best practice and sustainability as well as the contribution to the event industry and the difficulties encountered and overcome  when executing events and exhibitions this year.

Celebrating 15 years of Partnership!

Preparations are underway for Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia (RCPA) Pathology Update due to be held at the Melbourne Convention Centre, South Wharf, in February 2019.

The team at ExpoNet is delighted to be celebrating the long lasting relationship with the RCPA. The account and project managers delivering the 2019 event infrastructure are excited to be collaborating on the exhibition design and build for the 15th consecutive year.

The 2019 conference will focus on the theme, “The Power of Personalised Pathology” as molecular pathology plays a key role in the future of healthcare and pathology is the key in diagnosis.

GIANTS versus Swans game corporate fit out kicked off!

Decking out the GIANTS home ground corporate suites at Spotless Stadium, Sydney, with furniture, signage and decor, the ExpoNet team brought the suite to life for the GIANTS corporate partners and sponsors alike in August.

Using innovative and seamless event walling product Aluvision, the team created an environment in the suite that reflected the GIANTS colours of orange and black tones alongside incorporating graphic branding elements and images.

Providing their expertise gained from years of successful event deliveries for major sporting events and their associated fit outs for the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games, Gold Coast Marathon, City to Surf, Blackmore’s Running Festival as well as the GIANTS suite fit out - ExpoNet is your go to team for event design, styling, fit out and build solutions.

WCOA 2018 counts on ExpoNet’s high impact supply

The World Congress of Accountants (WCOA) was held from the 5 - 8th November at the International Convention Centre Sydney. Working in collaboration with Professional Conference Organiser MCI Australia, ExpoNet delivered the design and build of the exhibition, custom exhibition stands, feature areas and signage.

Over 6000 delegates attended WCOA and the event delivered on its promises to connect professional accountants together in one forum where the business program was dedicated to progressing their careers, utilising technology to increase business, sharing knowledge and networking.

Almost 50 exhibitors occupied Hall 1 and 2 at ICC Sydney. The team at ExpoNet was delighted to implement logistic and aesthetic benefits of the new walling system – Aluvision – for multiple custom stand exhibitors. Aluvision’s system significantly reduced the build time of these stands, allowed for seamless designs including curved lines and modern finishes.

Delivering fully customised solutions for Sage, Thomson Reuter, IFAC, CPA; Aluvision solutions for CIPFA, SAIPA, RMIT and Octanorm package solutions for AICPA and Calumo, the team pushed the creative boundaries for each and every three dimensional display.  Beyond the exhibits, ExpoNet’s team of design, account and project managers created stand out hospitality and lounge feature areas.

SIBOS 2018

Held in Sydney for the third time since its inception, SIBOS, the key financial services conference and exhibition was presented at the International Convention Centre, Sydney from 22 to 25 October. Celebrating 40 years of innovation in 2018, the event attracted over 7500 delegates from around the globe.

The overarching theme was ‘Enabling the digital economy’ and the programme canvassed topics such as how data, AI and robotics are driving service innovation and business model renewal; new paradigms and technologies for information sharing to tackle financial crime; tackling the widening cyber security challenge in the digital economy and adapting to evolving geopolitical and regulatory priorities.

ExpoNet, the official supplier to SIBOS, was selected to deliver premium design, project management and build services at the conference and exhibition.  Amongst the myriad of products and services provided, ExpoNet successfully implemented furniture and styling, exhibition design and build, staging, flooring, custom stand design and build, rigging, graphic design and signage production and feature areas build.

The convention and exhibition occupied the entire facilities at ICC Sydney heavily utilising Level 1 and Level 4’s dedicated exhibition space. Over 215 exhibitors imprinted upon the event floor plan at SIBOS. Custom stands featured prominently on the exhibition floor. ExpoNet’s in-house teams delivered a range of custom solutions for key brands and organisations such as Hewlett-Packard, Finextra, Banco Safra, BNP Paribas, Nelito, Premium Technology, Red Hat, i-exceed technology solutions, MUFG - Bank of Tokyo, Raiffeisen, SMBC and the Reserve Bank of Australia.

Working with SIBOS’s event branding elements, a significant aspect of the delivery was the provision of custom build throughout both exhibition floors, such as the Connect Garden, Discover Zone and others.

The team behind the exhibition and venue fit out solutions for major international conventions events such as the G20 Leaders’ Summit and ASEAN-Australia Special Summit have here delivered SIBOS to an extremely high level prompting positive reports from the client.
