Hebrews 1
First of all, it would be a good idea to read the book of Hebrews. I really like Hebrews. But this verse my Pastor has been teaching our sunday school class. It just keeps getting bigger and bigger to me. It's been on my heart all week so i figured I'd share it.
Hebrews 1:3 " Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty in high;"
Brightness- Radiance/Shining forth
Express Image- Exact representation (such as a notary seal that leaves a imprint on the envelope)+express image of his person *Jesus is stamped out of God. He is God in human flesh. (Colossians 2:9)
(This passage is talking about Jesus, my Saviour) just reading encouraging verse such as this one, makes me desire the word more and more. I hope you feel the same.
