Canada express entry
Canada express entry is an online system that we use to manage immigration applications from skilled workers.
2022 was a unique year for Canada’s Express Entry immigration system The all-program draws were on pause for the opening six months of 2022 and then resumed for five more months until a technical issue caused them to be suspended once again. Only late 2022 showed signs of the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada’s (IRCC) application backlog being reduced significantly. After seven years of steady growth since the system’s inception in 2015, this was the first year that saw a complete halt. That being said, it is only provisional as record immigration levels have been forecasted for the coming three years and are expected to increase to 500,000 annually by 2025. Consequently, Express Entry will likely come back with greater vigour in 2023 when Canada attempts to battle its constant labour shortages. #Express_Entry, #IRCC, #glitch, #immigration_levels (at Canada) https://www.instagram.com/p/CmzMqz2L_YC/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
There is currently a labour and skills shortage in Canada, and the points-based selection system for Express Entry programs is being upgraded to address this issue. Changes to the process will be made next year to keep Canada's immigration system responsive and the economy on track. It is unclear how the selection tools will change, but the system will adapt to meet severe labour shortages in areas like healthcare and construction. The current selection process for Immigrant workers accepts those who often work below their actual education, skill levels and abilities, which leaves Canadian employers struggling to find qualified employees for many positions. #Express_Entry, #labour_shortage, #CRS, #selection_tools, #selection_system (at Canada) https://www.instagram.com/p/ClrDAeWpWYj/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
The new NOC 2021 made truck drivers eligible for Express Entry Express Entry is now available to truck drivers following the implementation of the new National Occupational Classification (NOC) 2021. The update was announced by Immigration Minister Sean Fraser in August, and 16 new jobs were added to the Federal Skilled Worker Program with the launch of the new NOC system on November 16. Transport Truck Drivers take NOC code 73300 under this classification. It is still uncertain how truck drivers will be chosen through Express Entry. Canada might start conducting draws based on certain industries and occupations next year, so it is possible that truck drivers will be targeted then. #Express_Entry, #NOC_change, #NOC_2021, #truck_drivers (at Canada) https://www.instagram.com/p/ClrC7yuJmxi/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Ottawa will start holding targeted Express Entry draws in 2023 To ease impending labour shortages, Canada will begin hosting targeted Express Entry draws specifically for skilled workers starting next year. Immigration Minister Sean Fraser explained that targeted draws would allow the government to select workers by the sector and the location they intend to live in Canada. Immigration Minister also stated his intention to work with provinces to simplify the process of foreign credential recognition for doctors and nurses. This way, healthcare workers will be more efficiently employed under a specific skilled worker program targeting areas where demand is high. #Express_Entry, #Targeted_draws, #Fraser, #healthcare_workers, #labour_shortage (at Winnipeg, Manitoba) https://www.instagram.com/p/Ck8w2quOOR_/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
