“Interesting.” The station’s captain gazed back at the officer. He had to admit, he found her appearance a bit unsettling at best; he couldn’t help but feel a bit of repulsion at seeing her implants, but he was trying to be as cordial as possible. This was peacetime, and neither the Borg nor the Dominion posed a threat right now. The officer was here to merely study the station.

“Well, I could best define it in this case as ‘something out of the ordinary which requires my notice,’” he finally replied.

"If you’re saying that coming here was a bad idea, I’m starting to agree with you."

“A bad idea, Doctor?” Sisko queried, ducking behind his runabout to avoid weapons fire after peering around its port side. Bright blue lasers whizzed by his craft, skimming its nose and tail and leaving deep, black smoking char marks on its hull. “That is nothing short of an understatement.”
