i have astigmatism and a lot of white text (especially small text) on a black background gets really fuzzy and hard to read. so it’s much easier on the eyes to have it in day mode :)

Okay but I just read “A Rose for Emily” where an old woman had been sleeping with a man’s corpse. Where does that fall?
a rose for emily is one of my favorite short stories (and it is written by a man) and i’ll be real with you no woman in that story suffers in a way that i think falls into either category. she is batshit crazy though and i dig that.
