My Adata HD330 2TB External Hard Disk Drive Review (with my Paper Dolls) - Part 1 [Apr 12, 2022]
Hello! This is Part 1 of my new item review, the Adata HD330 External Hard Disk Drive (with my paper dolls).😁
Yup, that's right! Looks like I need a fresh new external hard disk drive to store all of my important files 📁 such as photos 🖼️(that I took from my "broken" Samsung Galaxy S4 & my recent smartphone the Honor 8C), games 🎮, documents 📄, videos 🎦 (recorded from my two aforementioned phones), and even my artworks from my past & present 🎨🖌️.
So, without further ado, let's get started:
1st to 4th Image(s)↑:
• [1st & 2nd Images] First off, here's the packaging itself. I picked the 2TB (terabyte) variant because I need more space for my future files. I'll explain it in the overall thoughts.
• [3rd Image] On the back, you could see more info about the Adata HD330. This external HD uses USB 3.2 1st gen to improve transfer speeds when plugging USB 3.2 / 3.0 port, plus it can support 2.0 as backward compatible, though the speed rates may differ.
• [4th Image] On the other side of the box, the HD330 advertise as a durable portable hard drive (despite they put "Shock Resistance") that can withstand bumps, knocks, and drops. Though I'm not sure if this external hard drive can also protect tight items inside without using a hardshell case. (looks like I'll buy a hardshell case for my external hard drive, soon.) Other features such as "Shock Sensor" to detect physical shock & cease transfer/reading files, and finally data protection using "AES 256-bit Encryption" to prevent prying. However, it requires Adata's own "Backup ToGo software" on Windows PC or Apple Mac.
5th to 8th Image(s) ↑:
• [5th & 6th Images] Now with that information & features out of the way, let's reveal the actual item itself! Wow, my new external HD is pretty cool in all blue rugged glory. My paper dolls agree on it, but they want a different color.😅
• [7th & 8th Images] (Removing plastic case & plastic sticker) Along with HD330 external hard drive, other accessories including USB 3.1 Micro-B Cable & instruction manual.
9th & 10th Image(s) ↑:
• And for those who are curious about what Micro-B looks like, here's a close-up.
Fun fact: Both Samsung Galaxy S5📱[CLICK ME!] & Galaxy Note 3 📱[CLICK ME!] are the only smartphones that possess a USB 3.0 Micro-B port instead of the standard USB Micro-B 2.0. The latter was first built-in before the Galaxy S5 was released the following year.
Overall & Price:
• Owning a portable/external hard drive w/ a huge portion of memory space is something that we need to store our precious files. There are tons of brands that offer good quality & certified 100% file protection, and this Adata brand that I order is one of them. Also, keep an eye out for fake/counterfeit brands & don't trust them at all, your wallet earning is not worth it, trust me.
• Now, what about the price? The original price of the Adata HD330 is 🏷️₱ 3,290 (free shipping included) from an authorized Lazada PH seller 🇵🇭🌐🛒 [CLICK ME!]. And that's the 2TB variant. However, I bought it for a discounted price of ₱2,549 using numerous discounted vouchers & free shipping during their 10th anniversary birthday sale. That's ₱700+ off saving!🆓🛒😁
• The Adata HD330 is available in three colors: Red 🔴, Black ⚫ & Blue 🔵 (my choice). As for memory size, the aforementioned portable hard drive is also available in 1TB, 4TB, and their most expensive the 5TB. The price may differ based on their authorized store, both physical & online.

Anyways, in my next part, I'll be doing the anatomy of my new portable hard drive as well as a comparison w/ my old one, before I move on to plug in the test. Although I don't remember where I put it, so I'll see you in my next part.🙂
As for my broken PC 🖥️🔧? Well, this might take a while until next week. 😟 Because this week is "Holy Week", meaning the fixing progress is "On-hold". In the meantime, I'm borrowing my big brother's laptop to continue my web journey (pun intended).👦💻
Well, that's all for now. If you want to see my previous topic from March, then I'll provide some links down below.↓😉
