We live in a world where good looks are valued more than a good personality. In this race of trying to look good, are we losing our humanity? By only focusing on improving the way we look, are we forgetting to improve ourselves as humans? We tend to overlook being more kind and loving and compromise it by putting more layers of make-up and dressing up in better clothes. We style our outfits but forget to style our personality. We think being good-looking is being beautiful but in reality, not all good looking people are beautiful and not all beautiful people are kind. So in this race of trying to look the best, how about we try to become better human beings? #innerbeauty Not all good-looking people are beautiful, and not all beautiful people are good-looking. Vanity VS Self-care

Why is it considered to be vanity when someone makes a conscious effort to groom themselves? Sure, this is not the vital part of life but it sure plays a huge part. Self-care does not only apply to external beauty but it extends to internal beauty, which involves your thoughts, values and character. Taking care of your external beauty is not superficial as it highly contributes to your self-confidence as well. It affects your daily mood, how you interact with others and how you motivate yourself in life. Self-care extends to enriching your moral values, maintaining your self-confidence and much more. There is more to what meets the eye. Judgement doesn’t equate to maturity, understanding others’ choice is mature. Arrogance and petulance won’t bring you anywhere, don’t use it to bring others down.
