So every once in a while I watch this old show called "extra french" where they just speak french slower to help new learners and like. I need y'all to see this out of context because even with context it absolutely floored me the first time i saw it

Learning French with Extr@ French

Watching TV series and shadowing are such important exercises. However, in most series people are talking too fast and slur or the vocabulary is too hard for a beginner. So I make a brave action and start Extra French. Cringey and very cheesy but look at the bright side, it's easy to comprehend. 

My routine contains 2 steps.

I watch it and write the sentences and words that I don't know. I look up and write their meanings down.

I use the shadowing method. I repeat especially the new words that I learn and the little linking words and sounds like hein, ah ouais, bon ben.

I always watch it with french subtitles.

I think of rewatching the series sometime after I finish it whole to evaluate my vocabulary but honestly I don't think that my brain can survive from it.
