Every year we have trouble finding Extra Dry Champagne (the real stuff from Reims, France) to celebrate the holidays. Many Americans think Brut is sweeter, but it is just the opposite ~ Extra Dry is sweeter than Brut. But because of incorrect thinking, most Americans want Brut, so hardly any store stocks the Extra Dry version anymore.
