He frowned at the problem in front of him. He somehow needed to fit enough explosives to blow up a secure door inside the casing of a pen. He took a drag of his cigarette and looked up as his door opened. 

“Oh, hello, 009. Can I help you with something?” He smiled politely. There were rumors that the double oh helped out internal affairs with identifying agents with... less traditional tastes. If the rumors were true, Sherrinford wanted to be certain he was on his best behavior. It wouldn’t do to draw attention to himself.

Victor looked up from the paperwork he was working on, curls a complete mess and eyes just starting to look red-rimmed. “Uh …” he said, very articulately, obviously. Because mental processes were working great at the moment. “That depends. Coffee or tea?”

Eve looked down at the two cups, hers filled with coffee, though his was empty. “Whichever you’d prefer actually. Tea or coffee?” They’d been here that long things were starting to blur and she had long lost track of how many cups she’d had.  Bloodstream was likely just coffee at this point.

He could only focus on grading tests for so long. Especially after such a long week. It was nice and warm in his flat, and Victor was such a comfortable pillow that they’d only been grading for a few minutes before Sherri was leaning his back against Victor’s side. Then when Earl Grey jumped up and snuggled into his lap, he let his eyes rest a moment and he was out.

He only half-woke up when Victor whispered in his ear, rolling over to wrap an arm around his middle and nuzzling into his side.
