Tasha lives in England in a rented home. How she was allowed to decorate a rental like she did, is simply incredible. 

In fact, her decor is so colorful and so over-the-top,

her home caught the attention of the New York Post and was actually featured in an article. She dubbed herself “The Queen of Cluttercore,” a maximalist decoration technique which “embraces organized chaos and clutter.”

Her living room is actually the tamest room in the house. She has lots of wall hangings, and only one wall of wallpaper.

This is the kitchen floor in progress- it was originally a yellowy tile.

And, here is the finished product. I thought it was paint, but it’s actually duct tape. Tasha posts “rental-friendly” transformation vids, showing others how to use vinyl and paint to transform a space without enraging your landlord. (I’m pretty sure if mine saw something like this, I’d be evicted.)

This is her teenaged son’s room that she just completed. They both love it and think it’s boss. 

Tasha also has a 10 month old son, and this is his nursery.

If you bought this house in Phoenix, Arizona, and wanted to change the interior paint, you would have to hire a tanker truck of anti-bleed paint. 

All the floors in the house are painted gloss red. 

So are the ceilings. YOu would probably need anti-bleed paint on the black parts, too. I see a lovely built-in cabinet against the back wall.

The kitchen just feels dreary, despite the red and leopard accents.

The bedroom’s are kinda snappy, especially this little lady, here.

And, a very red bath. The bathroom looks wallpapered- there seems to be a pattern on the walls and ceiling. It’s $376,000, for this very personalized home.

Nobody, and I mean NOBODY, decorates for Halloween like Hazel Moon, the Halloween Housewife. (And, yes, it’s all year round.) This is the living room of her 950 sq. ft. apt., all ready for Halloween. 

Hazel lives in Minnesota with her husband and 3 cats. Her favorite room is the living room.

She describes herself as a vintage collector and dealer, doting cat servant, plant parent, maker, and writer. She runs a year round Halloween lifestyle Instagram account that is such an inspiration to me.

Hazel makes Halloween every day with her thrift finds, DIYs, and holiday mashups. She’s an avid decorator and specializes in tree decorating. She does a new tree every month of the year!

She’s married to a music producer and PR manager, and they’ve lived in this apt. for 9 yrs.

The 3 cats run the place and have a lot of opinions on how to best decorate, which means there are many cozy places to hang out.

There’s just so much to see. She calls her style Eclectic Mid-Century Monster.

Hazel’s decorating tip:  Surround yourself with things that bring you joy and keep things fresh by switching things out seasonally so you always have new energy flowing to keep your spirits up! Don’t worry about keeping up with anyone but yourself because you’re the one who has to look at it every day, so do what you love!
