Looks.... okay...? Trimmed rubber friction bits as flush as I could, not 100% confident these legs will be the same length in the end.... it's gonna fine.

Also filling in some small gaps and pits on the neck while I'm at it.
Needed to trim some more leg, was too narrow on top...
........hrm..... need to extend the leg, now... I have ideas.......
Ramus' acetone goop is probably hard enough to sand now, which means of course now I'm looking at other bodies to cut apart and goop together for other characters because my brain is still in goop mode. ^^;;
MH torso + Wrasslegal bottom with MH lower legs for Kyle... he's gonna be a bit skinny really, kinda wish I could find something more in-between MH and Ken to use for his upper half, in the right skintone, but I'm okay with this combo for him for now.
Hercules torso + Batman V. Superman waist, shrinken EAH Hunter head for Mel.... gonna be kinda sad to lose the better arm articulation, but the width of Herc's shoulders is kinda perfect for Hell Mel. Soooooo... yup.
Main thing stalling me now is I forget where I stowed the rest of my tiny jam jars for melting doll clippings in acetone... I know I've got 3 or 4 more somewhere around here...

I need to bevel the interior of the thigh cup still, and I'd like to refine the flare and thickness as much as possible... but it's not looking bad so far, is it!
Oh, and it turns out the hinge peg isn't made from ABS or any other acetone reactive plastic, so the bond to the pen tips wasn't strong enough. No problem that a couple of screws couldn't fix, though!
Now I just need to find where my hobby joints and extra feet have wandered off to....
Ahhhh, the gloriously over-engineered wave 1 DS Prince body has the joints I'm looking for!

Also in the waist! ....actually I wonder if I could transfer that waist joint into the MAF body... 🤔
Anyway the real question is should I harvest the hips or the shoulders. Hips probably the easiest to cut loose, huh.
He's not as pale as the MAF body, but it's not terrible. I can probably coat the outside of the joint with a layer of acetone goop if it's too distracting...
Aw man, doesn't that just look so much better?? Even with slightly darker hobby joints in the ankles, it's a huge improvement over that stupid gappy dogbone and cup ankle rig.
Still needs a socket made in the leg, but I trimmed down the sides of the feet Figma-style and drilled holes for the ball joint pegs.
Also been refining the thigh flare and socket a lot, still more to go and lots of air pockets to fill in... but it's really starting to fit tightly and look much more professional!
And without the weird dogbone cup ankle extension, the MAF body legs are very close in length to the Cy-Guy legs... :3c just gotta come up with an adapter or mod that isn't too invasive/destructive...
Also while I was at it, I sanded the undies lines off of Ghaleon's previous body last night. The torso looks way less dorky with them gone, I'll have to figure out a character for this body I think. :3c
Kneeling is way better now, unmodded MAF body can't even compare!
CyGuy legs still better at kneeling, though.
Might be kind of hard to see, but this is what I mean about internal knee joint vs external knee joint. Internal looks more anatomically correct, external looks more mechanical (even when not deliberately sculpted to robot knees lol) but has way better range of motion than internal.
Also I really want to make adaptors for the CyGuy legs so I can swap them in and out with the MAF legs. :3c
Still kinda pondering that peg and how to get it securely seated into the leg for swivel joint purposes.
I think I'm gonna need to trim the top off and extend the peg somehow.... then I can just fill the leg up with almost solid goop and drill a hole for it to slot into, or wrap it with tape and seat it in the goop while it's curing....
The resulting connection won't be as permanent or sturdy as a peg with a flared top embedded into the leg would be, but figuring out how to achieve that with the limited tools and supplies I have on hand is too fiddly for my mind right now.
And besides, a smooth peg is basically what the Obitsu slim male body had for it's upper thigh rotation. It'll just be a return to form.
As for what to extend the peg with... hmmmmm....
Oh, I have some busted dollar tree novelty pens with smooth ABS tubes for the casing! One of those might work, cut in half.
