Presented in this photo is our new preferred method of using a holster in a thigh rig configuration. The Ragnarok is mounted to a Safariland Low ride attachment, and then a thigh rig strap is threaded through. This puts the holster at a very reasonable height, and the thigh strap stabilizes it to your leg so it doesn't flop around. The Safariland attachment is rigid enough so most of the weight of the firearm remains on your belt instead of being transferred through the strap (which can be more uncomfortable and fatigue you faster). This system is very minimalist, light weight, super comfortable, and maintains a slim profile. Something that I find very important for thigh rigs.
