4. Sitting next to each other on a packed bus or train
✖ ❥ ✖Hayate’s feelings about public transportation always depended on the person that ended up sitting next to him. More often than not, he was lucky enough to get a pretty female companion, but there were the occasional senior citizens and whatnot. Shallow? Definitely. But it wasn’t as if he constantly pushed away unwanted bus companions to make room for the more favorable ones. It was just that one time.
But on this particular ride, he was once again grateful for an attractive seat mate. The bus was just about packed, so it wasn’t as if she had much of a choice, but Hayate took the opportunity.
"Hey, there. I know you sort of got stuck with me, but I swear I’m not that bad.” At least not until after the second date.
"I’m Hayate."
