"Anything?" says Andrew. Neil nods.

"Have you decided what you want yet?" Neil asks, olympic gold medal hanging from his neck.

"Yes," Andrew says, opening his palm to reveal a gold ring. "You."

so my brain went and did what it normally does, which is spit out nice little ideas while I'm showering, and today that nice little idea happened to be AFTG themed

It's the 2020 Summer Olympics in Japan.

Our boys and gals have qualified to play for the USA.

Neil Josten and Andrew Minyard with their matching arm bands, Neil with his unmistakable facial scars and Andrew with his complete lack of enthusiasm.

Kevin and Jean with their facial tattoos where their numbers once were.

Jeremy, Cat and Laila with their wide smiles and sunny personalities.

Of course, as the founder of Exy, Tetsuji Moriyama is there as well. As a Moriyama setting foot in Japan, his position is awkward enough. The fact that Kevin and Jean avoid him for fear of calling him Master even after all these years doesn't make it better, especially not when Neil and Andrew would happily murder him while Jeremy, Cat and Laila would help bury the body. On top of that, Tetsuji is well aware that at least three of the players belong to his brother and are therefore out of his reach.

It makes for some... terse interviews, to say the least.

Don't know, that's it. That's all my brain's given me so far. I do like the set up tho, and it be fun to see their interactinos play out while the world is watching. Especially considering Neil's habit of causing chaos whenever someone puts a mic in his face......

Sharing this idea here because I probably won't write it, but I wanted to get it out there. Of course, if anyone wants to pick this up and make something of it, feel free!
