Neil Josten is twenty the first time his name goes into the reaping pool. Neil Josten is twenty when his name is called at a reaping. He now faces the one thing he had been running from all his life, and he's not sure if he'll make it out alive. He steps onto the stage ready to fight and to live, but after seeing the life that could've been, he's not sure he even wants to step foot outside the arena after he goes in.

Andrew Minyard, self appointed protector of his family, would never hesitate to step in and help Aaron or Nicky. That's why, when Aaron's name is being called, Andrew doesn't stop to think about his whole life turning upside down. No, he only raises his hands to tell everyone it would not be his brother going into that arena, but him. Only Andrew didn't really think about what he might be signing up for.

And then there were just two boys, learning how to survive off each other, how to feel anything again. Learning that maybe some things don't have to hurt, as scars soak into their skin with a promise that they'd always be there. As they become so much more than they'd ever thought they'd be.

hey aftg fans!! i’m currently in the process of writing a aftg hunger games au and would very much like it i could find any beta readers that would be interested in reading my first few chapters for me! this fic is going to be a big project and i’m only about 74k words into it right now with no end point in sight, but i do want to start posting soon before the summer is out! i’ve never actually worked with beta readers before, so this entire process would be new to me but it’ll be fun to learn about and a way to get feedback— (and hopefully people will actually like it) please comment if you’d be interested! i’m really excited about this project and i can’t wait to finally post it. thank you!

It never happened, though. She was always ugly, always below someone of more beauty. Maybe, all she needed was a little magic.

Pandora Lovegood had been a cowardly witch all her life. She's run from everything. Her old life, the war, her heart. The only thing she's allowed herself is her castle, made completely from scraps, and some magic, of course. But, all her life she's searched. Searched for something of meaning, and now, maybe she's finally found it.

It's a cool, sunny day when Pandora and Lily happen to cross paths for the first time. It's a complete accidently, really. Or is it?
