So I drew a couple Left to right eyejacker https://bogleech.com/mortasheen/eyejacker.htm Z-serie protector https://bogleech.com/mortasheen/z-protector.htm dementipede https://bogleech.com/mortasheen/dementipede.htm
Review #6 EYEJACKER - The Sight Eater
Review number five here we go. This one is going to be a bit light on the fluff side of things since... well Eyejacker is definitely on bog’s “Due for an update” list. Design wise it’s pretty cool and unique, description wise... weeeeell...
One interesting thing about this monster is that it floats, I feel like that could have been better established through the design but you can sorta see it once you’re told about it. Now... the larger part of the description reads that Eyejackers gain energy by absorbing it from their eyes, however their eyes are so geared toward this task of energy absorption that they are effectively blind, however they are able to see by... “ invasive neural transmissions” that allow the creature to see through the eyes of others... that sounds a wee bit similar to uh... another monster we recently reviewed. Admittedly that’s probably due to Eyejacker being one of bog’s older mortasheens. What I would have done to make it unique though, is have it replace the eyes of living beings and see through those ones, and then after a certain time once the fabricated eyes have gained enough energy, come back and take the eyes back into it’s body.
Now the design, despite the description being a bit similar to Cynapse, this monster has a pretty unique design. I love the bulbous eyes and the detail of the goo being barely held on to the creature’s bones. This is a creature that you can almost hear the skittering of its claws along a hard surface. the hair is a nice touch as well.
And with that I will rate it... (Sound of eye jelly being sloshed)
a 4 out of 5
Again, while the description has a bit to be desired, the design itself is very good.
