HOLIDAY FLASHBACK
Nyx Eyeshadow Base in White Pearl

Hey guys,
I love seeing products that you recommend in the comments for me to try out and today I am checking out a new eyeshadow base that has honestly been recommended me so many times. Today we are chatting about the iconic P.Louise Eyeshadow Base £10,00 in shade 0.5.
Now in all honesty I had never heard of P.Louise as a brand until my friends and people in the comments started recommending their eyeshadow base. If you aren't sure a eyeshadow base is the same as a eyeshadow primer and it's designed to hold your eye makeup in place and with some formula make the shadows more pigmented and intense.
There were so many shades of eyeshadow base to try out I got a little overwhelmed and went with 0.5 which is the fairest shade and the colour is more like a very pale base. They have all different shades to match your eye lid colour. I could of gone for 0.5 or 1 but I played it safe since it's a new brand to try out. I honestly didn't realise this brand has their own makeup products including palettes, all looking lovely but not anything I needed to order myself.
Unlike other primers I've tried previously like my favourite Fenty Beauty Pro Filt'r, this primer isn't a sticky base primer but more a creamy style formula which surprised me because I didn't expect the shadows to stick as well. I decided to test this eyeshadow base with a high-end palette and drugstore palette and I didn't see any differences. Both palettes lasted really well on my eyelids and after a day of work my shadows looked as good in the evening as they did in the morning. So overall a success I'd say, if you want to check out the full colour range in this eyebase collection click the link below.

¡Hola!
Maybelline Eye Studio Color Tattoo
L-R: Creamy Beige (Leather formula), Bad To The Bronze, Silver Strike, Edgy Emerald
As interesting as these are, I haven’t used them enough to say much about them. The browns here have great color payoff, but the emerald isn’t quite as good. Like other creamy formulas, I’d imagine these would work well as an eyeshadow base, or by itself on the lid.
Mary Kay’s Cream Eye Color
L-R: Beach Blonde, Apricot Twist, Iced Cocoa
A few months back, one of my friends from grade school started selling Mary Kay products. Honestly, I’m not really a big fan of...”pyramid?” companies. The ones where you have purchase the items you want from your rep--you can’t buy directly from the company’s website. However, I bought a few items to support my friend: mostly skincare at first, and then a few eyeshadows, including these three cream eyeshadows.
As you can see in the photo of the jars, the product is very creamy, almost like a mousse. Given this consistency, they work well as an eyeshadow base. Beach Blonde, when worn alone, is a very subtle shimmering glow on the eye, which is nice for a simple look. Unfortunately, it looks like the swatches in sunlight image dulls all three shades out to similar shades of brown...the ambient lighting photo gives a much more accurate depiction of the colors.
Part 7: Prep The Eyes
Before you apply your eyeshadow, always prep the eyes with primer or/and eyeshadow base.
Eye Primer Primer will help the eyeshadow to stay put and last long. It aslo help prevent creasing on the eyelid. Never double layer a primer because it can cause creasing. The best drugstore eye primers are L’Oreal Magic De-crease eyelid primer, Milani Eyeshadow Primer, ELF Eye primer & liner sealer, and ELF Mineral eyeshadow primer.
Eyeshadow Base A base can magnifies an eyeshadow shade. It is best for vibrant colors, to prevent skin color come through. The best drugstore eyeshadow base are NYX HD Eyesahdow base or my favorite NYX Eyeshadow base in “White”. A white creamy eye pencil also does the trick, like NYX jumbo eye pencil in Milk and La Colors jumbo eye pencil in Sea Shells. White eyeshadow base works great for vibrant color, but for darker color such like black used any cheap black creamy eye-pencil for eyeshadow base. Tip: Concealer can also be used as eyeshadow base If you have a tight budget. Concealer suit best for people with dry to normal skin.
10 Makeup Tricks to Shed Years off Your Face
1. Liquid Concealer
Liquid concealers deeply cover the lines around your eyes and make the eye are look smooth and even and also conceal dark circles. The waxy base also settles into the crevices, if any. Overall, a liquid concealer works best for any kind of skin.
2. Use Moisturizer Frequently
Moisturizer is a must for your skin no matter what your age is. It helps keeping the skin moisturized…
