A few months ago I reviewed some P.Louise eyeshadow palettes from the Love Tapes collection and they were stunning. I loved the pigment of the shadows, the packaging and the fact they were way more affordable than I expected.

Well the good news is P.Louise has released more palettes in this collection and of course I have to try the new colours for myself. This time I picked up the palette Team Bride which colour story wise you can see are my colours for sure! Like the palettes in the other collection you get 6 mattes and 2 foil shimmers in each palette. Looking at the palettes online the shimmers and matte burgundy colour caught my eye straight away and I knew exactly what looks I wanted to create.

I love this palette because the colours are very wearable for a soft glam look but you can use the deeper tones on the bottom right corner to deepen and smoke out a eye look. I'm not sure why but lately I have been loving pink tones in my makeup from blush to eyeshadow, we could blame my pillow talk obsessed for this possibly. So the last time we talked about P.Louise I was trying out the palettes for the first time and completely fell in love with the colour story and formula. I originally bought the romance trio and wanted to keep collecting the other palettes in the range.

Browsing Tik Tok shop I spotted one of the palettes I had never seen before which is called Love Tapes Palette in Between The Sheets. The other palettes I picked up in the collection have a mixture of mattes and shimmers however this palette is purely matte shades. As you can see this palette has a gorgeous collection of nude tones for pretty much every occasion. I love these palettes because they are amazing value for money being £17.00 each since the pan sizes are way bigger than I ever expected them to be. I also love reading the names of each shade because they have some cheeky names.

To me personally this is the perfect selection of nude for me to pair with any shimmer palette and it helps the palette is a travel friendly size. Recently I've been enjoying wearing a matte eye look and paring it with winged liner. Especially in the case of this palette, a few times I have used the lighter nude tones as a very subtle smokey eye and then using the brown shades as liner so it isn't as hash as liquid liner.

So if you are looking for the perfect nude matte palette I would highly recommend this palette. it's really easy to use, blends like a dream and you can create so many looks! I have linked the palette above though I would also recommend checking Tik Tok shop as their prices drop from time to time.

Hey guys,

I love seeing products that you recommend in the comments for me to try out and today I am checking out a new eyeshadow base that has honestly been recommended me so many times. Today we are chatting about the iconic P.Louise Eyeshadow Base £10,00 in shade 0.5.

Now in all honesty I had never heard of P.Louise as a brand until my friends and people in the comments started recommending their eyeshadow base. If you aren't sure a eyeshadow base is the same as a eyeshadow primer and it's designed to hold your eye makeup in place and with some formula make the shadows more pigmented and intense.

There were so many shades of eyeshadow base to try out I got a little overwhelmed and went with 0.5 which is the fairest shade and the colour is more like a very pale base. They have all different shades to match your eye lid colour. I could of gone for 0.5 or 1 but I played it safe since it's a new brand to try out. I honestly didn't realise this brand has their own makeup products including palettes, all looking lovely but not anything I needed to order myself.

Unlike other primers I've tried previously like my favourite Fenty Beauty Pro Filt'r, this primer isn't a sticky base primer but more a creamy style formula which surprised me because I didn't expect the shadows to stick as well. I decided to test this eyeshadow base with a high-end palette and drugstore palette and I didn't see any differences. Both palettes lasted really well on my eyelids and after a day of work my shadows looked as good in the evening as they did in the morning.
