Episode 1046: Along the Mountain Path
Translator Notes:
I don’t have a lot to say about the comic itself, but I did find something of note during research for the translation: the monster name “Eyeshroom” is actually amusingly literal in its translation. The monster’s Japanese name is hitomidake, which is rendered in-game in katakana as ヒトミダケ, but if you were to spell it with kanji, it would be spelled 瞳茸, which literally means “eye-pupil mushroom”. Now you know!
The eyeshroom holds all the secrets! 👁🍄 I picked this up from an artist at #midwestconferenceontheunknown …and I’m trying to find her business card so I can credit her, but am unsuccessful. 😥 Regardless, I have to share this ADORABLE #eyeshroom that is also a vial (for secrets). He’s gonna live in the curiosity cabinet. (at Orfordville, Wisconsin) https://www.instagram.com/p/ChcZ02yLw8q/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
