Something new, something different.
It was a relatively easy mark. A typical story: some merchant who had a grudge against some competitor and wanted him gone. Eyja was never against these requests. After all, gil was gil and she set her own rates.
“Make it quick, and clean up after yourself when you’re done,” was the usual request and Eyja always answered with a simple, lackadaisical nod. She wasn’t one for conversation.
The blood was easy to wash away from her skin, but a few stains remained on her coat and boots - a problem for another time. She thought little about what had transpired only moments prior and instead enjoyed the cacophony of birdsong as she bathed in the river.
