My friend celebrates her bday in... 3 hours and 26 minutes! So I drew this for her. I hope she likes this headshot of her GW2 commander, Aretha.
I'm soooo happy with how the hair turned out and I had tons of fun when working on this piece. I tried to imitate how Scott Sava draws hair, since I've been seeing him a lot on Youtube recently. I really admire his art and I hope that I can learn even more from him in the future, even if his medium is paint and mine is mostly digital. But hey. Maybe I will go back to traditional art again and do some redraws.
