why did the bumper sticker make you feel ill?
because the monetary aid that the united states gives to israel (in the neighborhood of several million dollars a year) helps the israeli government in attacking and killing innocent palestinians, illegally occupying palestinian territory, etc.
the bumper sticker presented israel as a persecuted minority, which it isn’t. israel is an imperialistic and genocidal state, and the united states just keeps giving that government more money to kill people with.
the same company provided tear gas bombs to both the israel government and the swat teams in ferguson, missouri. so american corporations are complicit in this also.
i kind of went a little crazy with this response. tl;dr israel is oppressing palestinians perfectly well already and our government should stop giving them taxpayers’ dollars to help them do it.
