“ He’s not even human ” was his defense. Sure it would appear that he just murdered a wanted man ( wanted alive ) in cold blood, considering the body at his feet and his sword bloodied in his hand at the back end of an alley. In retrospect, maybe he should’ve considered the fact that the man was being chased before cutting him off and ... cutting him off. He’s pretty sure that the criminal held valuable information for the authorities, but he was far too dangerous to be left alive ( that’s what a certain deity had told him when he was sent to take care of the ‘loose end’ as the god put it )
