having grimm as an emotional support show is so sad because what do you mean the best character is actually juliette silverton and what do you mean she deserves better than to be in this show in fact.

im sure its been said before but its so important to me that suzanne collins wrote casca highbottom into tbosas as a direct parallel to gale years after all of the (in my opinion) excessive hate the guy gets, being effectively villanized vs the perfect everlark lovestory.
and this is me saying it as someone who loves peeta and his kindness with my whole heart but – gale is not the monster in this story, he is still a victim! he is a consequence of the suffering endured at the hands of the capitol! that is the point of his character!
we don't clearly get that from katniss' pov. katniss' perception is warped by grief. she is not thinking about things from a moral or ethical standpoint, but rather from the fact that gale – someone she loves – was part of murdering prim – the person katniss loves more than anything.
seeing katniss ripped apart by her grief leaves you unable to forgive gale, and that's understandable. but again: gale is not snow, he's not coin. you cannot condemn him with the same energy that those two deserve.
gale is casca highbottom. gale is someone who watched horrible things happen around him and to the people he loved, felt anger and disgust at it, and made a horrible plan AS A CONCEPT to process his grief. something to channel the rage into. a hypothetical way to strike back.
gale was used by coin the way highbottom was used by crassus snow, his anger given the power to destroy by those with looser morals. and i have no doubt that, like highbottom, gale will live the rest of his life regretting ever making that plan.
sorry for being slightly critical of a politician character in Space Politics and Laser Swords the Franchise but at least i was blessed with enough critical thinking skills and morals to not ship two characters who have referred to themselves as "as close to a father"/"you were my brother." who also have a sixteen year age difference, one of whom was raised by the other since he was ten! years! old!
if your best take is that obi-wan is a gr**mer maybe i don't trust anything you have to say 👍
After reading Dooku: Jedi Lost it's so hard not to get stuck on how his closest mentors happened to be on the opposite side of a very complex spectrum and how that has just as much to do with the way Dooku's opinions of both the Jedi and the Republic were formed as much as his years of messaging Jenza.
On one hand, you have Yoda, who we all know. "Wise and inscrutable," as Sifo-Dyas put it. Yoda is the picture of what a Jedi is supposed to aspire to be. He is the be all, end all of Jedi-hood. Under Yoda's teaching, Dooku was placed in a position where he forced himself to be the best — already an issue he faced before becoming a padawan.
On the other, you have Lene Kostana. From the first time meet her in the audiobook, they tell you that Lene Kostana is someone that the Jedi Council scrutinize and don't take seriously. Her interests in Sith history are seen as irrelevant more than they seem dangerous. Everyone is blind to the idea that the Sith could make a return, while she's preparing herself for a potential – and, to her, ineviteable – ressurection of the Sith.
watching jackieshauna yellowjackets is just an endless loop of "they say i killed you, haunt me then. be with me always. take any form, drive me mad, but do not leave me. not in a place where i cannot find you. i cannot live without my life. i cannot live without my soul." and being extremely unwell about it
when the darksaber cracked like a glowstick 🥰
anyways while i enjoy that din still kinda gets to keep being that outside guy on the plot a little more (but also not really cuz he's entering the narrative) i don't like that he had to abandon the planet his people just got back like .
let him take a moment and chill with other mandos please
armorer babygirl im so sorry i doubted you as an apology pls let bo have your hand in marriage
