Ezio and Leo stuff from so long ago I had forgotten about them

One time I dreamt that Desmond was thrown into the past into Ezio's era by some timey wimey shenanigans I don't remember the explanation for. I'd probably go with something Isu-related after he touched the Eye, like most AUs tend to go.

But anyway, he met Ezio, right? Ezio from the start of the story, who at the time was 17. So Desmond told him "yeah so yeah um I am your descendant from 500 years in the future".

And let's be honest, probably thought the guy was a brat. Desmond moved out of child Ezio into adult Ezio in his trips to the Animus pretty early even in AC2. He mostly knows Ezio as an older man.

But here's the thing.

EZIO HAD JUST LOST HIS FAMILY.

And he looked at Desmond like "wait, so that means you're like, my grandson"

Desmond was trying to argue that "well, there's some great great great— in the middle of it" but Ezio was already having a paternity crisis.

And might I emphasize.

Ezio was 17

Desmond is 25 (and also suicidal, let's be real, this is AC3 Desmond)

Ezio still wanted to parent Desmond.

Like, it was a whole dream of Ezio trying to teach Desmond the ropes of Renaissance Florence because he thought he needed to impart wisdom upon his "grandson", while Desmond was flabbergastedly running after him like "YOU'RE YOUNGER THAN ME"

That was it that was the dream. I know it sounds like I'm making it up but I really did dream this. Sometimes my dreams have very coherent plots.

Should I make this into a fic?
