aight but historically Leonardo was literally Italy’s very own cryptid so I propose the following: AC!Leonardo confuses the living fuck out of everyone who meets/hears about him and the only one who can understand him is Ezio, who refuses to be helpful and conveniently disappears when someone needs him to translate Leonardo’s ramblings
