Prompt #23: Shuffle

“And then I part the deck in thirds and join it all again“ the aura said

“Mmmm“ taking her hand into her chin with a thought expression, the hyur added “That sounds so much like you“

“Ah?! what do you mean?“

“You know? the order, how much care you put in parting the deck.... sounds like you“

A sight pink in her cheeks. “Then how do you shuffle your cards Foundation?“

The hyur let out a joyful laugh “You won’t like it, but I’ll tell you“

Soul had a curious look in her face, like how much different was her way of parting the deck compared to her counterpart? Was it that bad?

“You know how they shuffle triple triad cards? That quick fan like movements?“

“No.....”

“Ah, see? I told you you would not like it“ Foundation said looking away from her

“But the cards are longer than Triple Triad’s! You might bend them!!“

“... I had bent them a little.... more than a couple of times. Good thing I can replace them easily!“

Soul took Foundation by the collar of her clothes and shaked her “You are not supposed to treat the cards in a rough manner“

“I can’t help it“ Taking the au ra by the arms to make her stop “I’ve been playing Triad longer than I’ve been an Astrologian“

“For how much longer?“

“For like 12 years? give or take“

Soul started shaking her again with more force than before, if that was possible “THAT’S MORE OR LESS HALF OF YOUR LIFE, BY THE TWELVE!“

“Please stop shaking me! You are gonna shuffle my memories as well!!!“

“AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH“ both let out at the same time while one was shaking her anger and the other trying to stop her

Prompt #2: Bargain

"483,500 gil" a vendor told to the couple of blue haired adventurers.

"Sure thi.."

"That's to high" The au ra interrupted the lalafell. "We won't be paying that much for something that has a lower value"

"That's the way it is young lady" the vendor told her.

But she didn't hesitate, paying that much was off the table. Combing her bangs with her fingers she took a moment before doing what she was known for in her group.

"We'll pay you 320,000 gil" She told the vendor while crossing her arms before her.

"What?! Are you crazy?! There is no way I'm letting go more than 160,000 gil just like that!" The vendor explode before the pair.

"Hey Soul don't start, we can..." The lalafell told in almost a whisper to her but was interrupted by the vendor's laugh.

"All right kids, I see what you want to play. I'm willing to accept 480,000 gil for it"

"350,000 gil and information you can use if you want to boost your sales "

"478,500"

"355,000"

"All right girl, I won't go lower than 475,000. Your choice"

"We'll give you 365,500, the information and we'll do your errands for the day, if they require eliminating monsters, you get parts of them that you can sell"

The vendor and the au ra maintained a battle of wills while looking at each other's eyes. The lalafell just kept looking at them feeling nervous.

"Ha! I like your style girl, you know what you are doing. It's been a while since someone challenged my prices. You have a deal." The vendor searched for a notebook, ripped a page and handle it to the girl. "This are my tasks for the day. If you want to take your item with you before it's time to eat I suggest you two start working now."

"We'll be back soon. Don't even think of selling it to anyone else" said the au ra.

"Don't worry, you have my word" said the vendor while he moved the item behind the counter.

The adventurers started walking and when they were far from the shop he asked the girl.

"Hey, why didn't you accepted the first time? We could have payed for it without a problem"

"True" said the girl starting to comb her bangs again. "But is also true that it's true value is less than what he was asking for, and with that saved money we can get the items we need for the others. If we finish fast we can even get a sweet treat before returning"

That was the magic word. The lalafell jumped and walked with purpose.

“Such a clever mind you have, quickly, if we divide the tasks we can get the candies faster"

The girl just laugh a little and showed him the list.

Prompt #20: Anon

Hyphen Dotharl (F)

She likes things to be done in a reasonable amount of time. The quicker, the better.

Although mildly patient, what she tends to get the most irritated about is getting stuck in a long line with people having trouble counting their change right.

She just wants things to go smoothly as possible, but being behind 10000000000000 more persons and using valuable time.... she thinks they'll better ask her to take a look to let them know if it is right or not

Prompt #23: Soul

Hyphen Dotharl (F)

Soul... Faithful Soul... or Hyphen, to be precise.

But how did she become 'Soul' to the rest?

The best way to discover is going to thew source, to the foundation of all this.

"She wants order on things, the wants to have her system, but even with that systematic way of wanting to do things she has put that aside to aid not only ous but others as well, and she is not afraid to throw that out of the window to defend what she believes in...It's a bit complex, but no matter what her goal is, you can count with her in any situation.."

She is some who want's to do things her way but can put that on hold when you need her, when you need assistance, when you only want someone to hear you out.

All the interest shifts, and that's when you can see how faithful and full of interest and life her actions really are.

Prompt #3: Scale

On this comfy, calm day, they saw the prefect opportunity to pamper themselves, if only for a little while.

They made their homework and researched... looking for things similar to the ones at home was not difficult but confusing. “What’s with this odd names?“

Yet, this was much needed.

They booked a day on a nearby hot springs place, and they were ready to get to work.

Mixing, applying and relaxing. Not only their bodies were finally calm, but their scales had finally gotten some much needed proper care.

The rest would not quite get it, but the other just knew how important it was o take care of your scales

“So... have any of you tried to do something about it?” Witty said crossing her arms

“We tried to...”

“Ahhhh? No sir, no ma’am, that is not even what the initial deal was” a loud complain from Soul could be heard in the distance

“We tried to bribe her”

“To distract her”

“Aha, now that that is settle, let’s talk about this one” Another statement from her.

“To ask her to go do shopping elsewhere”

“To make her just stand here”

“Even Cavalier and Engi tried to drag her by force.... but she held so tight to the counter”

“Ahhhhh?!?! Try again and you might have a deal” Soul chanted from afar once more.

All of them signed at the same time

“Guess we’ll have to wait till she ends”

“But...” Witty added sadly “her ice cream is gonna melt”
