so update on Squid, I got new batteries and she does work but only kind of.
she will turn on but she will intermittently turn back off unprompted like not in the normal furby way but eventually will wake up from a sleep. also her eyes will get stuck so currently they're stuck closed but that's alright.
I tried downloading the app to play with her which I did get it set up and updated her but i hatched a furbling and then the furbling moved out of frame and didnt return and I couldn't interact with anything but it wasnt frozen.

so as expected, I think shes just going to be without batteries like my other furbies but that's okay I'm not much for the fart poop humor Connects have anyways.
