This totally bodacious VFA-192 Golden Dragons CAG F/A-18C (NG-400 / BuNo 164002) is the lone aircraft on the NAS North Island T-line in February 2011 — a good one indeed!

43 years ago today, the McDonnell Douglas F/A-18 Hornet went operational with the USMC, joining VMFA-314 "Black Knights" at MCAS El Toro (January 7, 1983). Yes, the Marines got the Hornet almost six months before Big Navy.
