Retro Thursday - 1993 Formula 1 Season - Liveries - BMS Scuderia Italia Welcome to #RetroThursday. One day a week dedicated to F1 from past years. Helmets, suits, liveries or tracks with a little more of creativity. As we all know, BMS Scuderia Italia was a short-lived team during the late 80s and early 90s, it was not really a competitive team and in his last year, 1993, they competed for the team, the outgoing Michele Alboreto and a debutant Luca Badoer. Both tried to give their best in the season with their Lola T93/30, but their results ended up being very bad, without getting a single point in the year, it can only be highlighted in that year, a 7th place for Badoer in San Marino (considering that only 9 drivers finished that race). By the final races of the season the team was struggling for money and chose to withdraw from the last two events, having earned no points all season. The same thing happened to Minardi as BMS that year, o, in 1994 the teams merged to create Minardi Scuderia Italia, trying to improve, even a little more, the performance shown in recent years. Please comment, what do you want to see in the next #RetroThursday? :)
