Piper and Percy was a dynamic that I would’ve loved to see, and it has nothing to do with their lineage or Jason. In the first book, Percy showed a sort of disdain and also pity to the kids of Yancy Academy because they were all rich and their parents couldn’t care to actually take care of them. Piper was literally one of those Yancy kids; a daughter of a rich actor who acted out because she felt forgotten, but he just had his assistant ship her out to some place.
